job (progress billing).
If you prefer progress billing:

- Click on Preferences,
- Click on Jobs & Estimates,
- Click on Company Preferences,
- Click on Yes under Do You Do Progress Invoicing?.
- Click on OK.
To create the invoice:
- Click on the Create Invoice button at the top of the QuickBooks
estimate screen.
- Click on Yes to record changes to the estimate.
- If you selected progress billing, enter a percentage or select items to be
invoiced.
- Click on OK and QuickBooks creates the invoice.
- Make changes to the invoice if you want.
- Click to print one copy for your file and another for your customer.
- Click on OK when done. (Processing the file may take a little time.)
QuickBooks reports will now include totals from the job just invoiced.
